Safety and tools
Soldering safety, eye/hand protection, and workspace ventilation. Choosing a beginner-friendly iron, flux, and solder—what to buy and what to watch for.
Components and schematics
Resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors—how to read markings. How to follow a schematic without getting lost in symbols.
Soldering technique
Tinning, correct temperature, and soldering DIP and SMD parts. Common mistakes—cold joints, overheating, solder bridges—and how to avoid them.
Testing and debugging
Multimeter basics: voltage, resistance, and continuity. How to find a wiring or soldering mistake without an oscilloscope.
Build your own device
Participants solder a complete project—an LED circuit, a mini amp, or a learning kit—and take it home.
