What we cover
- •How FDM/FFF printers work—extruder, bed, part cooling—plus workspace safety and first steps after setup.
- •Filaments: PLA, PETG, ABS and more; nozzle/bed temperatures, adhesion, and when/how to dry filament.
- •Multi-color / multi-material setups and AMS-style units: managing spools and active drying in an enclosed module (e.g. Bambu-style workflows).
- •Sourcing models: trusted libraries, licensing, mesh repair, build plate orientation, and reasonable overhangs.
- •Slicing: supports, infill, layer height, speeds, perimeters, first-layer settings, and material profiles.
- •Bed leveling / live Z, first-layer tuning, fighting warp and layer shift, and starting longer prints confidently.
- •Maintenance: nozzle and build-plate care, rail lubrication; troubleshooting under-extrusion, stringing, warping, and common failures.
